Airslide for petroleum coke transportation
Airslide act as a pneumatic conveyer to transport petroleum coke in the production of aluminum. A great quantity of air is introduced in the bottom of the airslide through a series of blades, so that the petroleum coke floats above the surface. The angle at which the air comes in ensures the transportation of the petroleum coke. The blades are thus subject to a relatively high level of abrasion.
