Liquid metals are very corrosive and attack equipment or parts that come in contact with them. In some cases, parts operate only for few minutes.

Metal 7's focus has been on two main coating families for liquid metal applications: solutions for parts exposed to liquid aluminum and solutions for parts exposed to liquid cast iron.
