Idler rolls for belt conveyors

Conveyor belts in the mineral industry operate in an aggressive environment, resulting in premature wear.  They belt creates friction with the constant contact with the idlers.  The abrasive particles coming from the material conveyed by the belt degrade the idler roller outer surface.  Plus, they are operating often outside where they are exposed to all sorts of atmospheric conditions.

Problems with the idler rolls supporting the belt are one of the main maintenance concerns for the operators.

Metal 7’s solution: Its D-330 coated idler rolls.  They are manufactured with highest standards securing the sealing of the bearings and concentricity.  They come with a metallic protective coating to increase the roller shell resistance.  Experience has shown more than 3.3 times the life of the D-330 rolls in comparison of conventional rolls.
